Dear Friends and Family,
We just completed IMPACT (International Ministry Preparation And Cross-cultural Training) in lovely Southaven, Mississippi. Here is our part of our West Nairobi family (Left to Right: Courtney, Me (Jeremy Hood – I had to be very specific this week), Tom and Tera Krol, Courtney and Zach Schubert, and Kade Bullion (aka this week: Mr. Money)).
There are several other new teachers going to West Nairobi School; however, they were not able to join us at this IMPACT due to travel schedules or visa issues. We’ll get to meet all of them in just a few weeks. The week was filled with worship, prayer, and instruction. It was an amazing time watching God move, bringing together people from around the world together to learn about different cultures and how to share His name.

Interestingly, another Hood family from Tampa, FL was present this week too. They’ll be working at the school in a restricted access country. We pray for safe travels for them and all of the Network families as they depart for destinations around the globe.
We depart for Kenya in 16 days. Our last two weeks will be filled with last visits with friends and family, packing, and moving our last items to storage.
Praises:
God’s healing and movement at IMPACT!
Deep discussions and establishing realistic expectations.
Connection with our new school staff and across the NICS community.
Prayers:
Grace and Truth spoken in kindness as we prepare to depart (this is a challenging goodbye)
For the RV to sale so that we can have more flexibility to connect with family during breaks.
Protection for the staff as they prepare to return to West Nairobi School and campuses across the network. Pray we fix our eyes on Jesus, responding to conviction, casting of condemnation, and walking freely with Him every step of the way.
