Car Bazaar, School Lunch, and so much more

This past week, we completed New Teacher Orientation (NTO). This experience included many typical trainings for new school personnel, but then there was more. We got to experience a large flea market for automobiles that gathers every Sunday called the “Car Bazaar”. This confirmed that anything imported has a high cost in Kenya.

However, our car was repaired! Praise God. It has also been a blessing to have devotions as a group each morning. We even got into a great conversation with a local craftsman about Oholiab in Exodus 31. Jeremy is already running with the challenge of all of his teammates being on campus and needing his direct input and approval.

Praise:

  • Cooking at home
  • Car is running
  • Wonderful co-workers helping us every step of the way

Prayers:

  • Wisdom in connecting with parents and families
  • Finding additional sources of funding for the school to help with a few capital improvement projects
  • Continued grace as we prepare for the arrival of our students on August 5th.
